One of Lisa’s favorite artists is post-impressionist French artist, Paul Cezanne. She admires his choice of colors and his use of patches of colors to create the composition. This is a study of one of his many paintings of Mont Sainte-Victorie. The liberal use of yellow ochre and orange on the cliff makes for a strong earthy contrast against the soothing background of Mont Sainte-Victorie and the sky.
